#4 The Meaning Behind You Blog.


Well there are a lot of reasons I started this blog.

Firstly, I have a friend who have been doing it for some time and had encouraged me to start. She was very helpful in starting me up and for this I am very grateful. She had read some of my poetry and writings I did and told me it is a good way for people to see and appreciate my writing. This is definitely true and I am truly grateful for the people who have visited, commented and follow my blog. It really means a lot to me. Sniff sniff  :)

Secondly, I had been going through a really tough time with my son suddenly getting seizures. This completely uprooted me and I found myself consumed with endless nights of watching Dylan’s seizures and not having the power to do anything about it. Basically I felt helpless and angry. So blogging gave me the means of de-stressing and escaping from reality if just for a moment.

Finally, I love having the forum of being able to express myself. I love being able to visit other people’s blog and adding to the topic they are discussing. It makes me feel as if I am not alone in my thoughts and I am not the only person who feels the way that I do.

Blogging is fun… and I welcome anyone who is on this journey with me!

    I blog for a lot of the same reasons! I love it, I only wish I had started when I was pregnant with my first when I felt really alone.

My Version of Fall.

I have been seeing on other blogs beautiful pictures of the ever changing and eye stimulating Fall season. Honestly living in Trinidad limits your experiences of the changing seasons and seeing how spring turns to summer to fall and then winter. All I have is endless summer greenery. All I have is the constant warm weather and lush green rain forests. So I have been living vicariously through other blog admiring the Fall pictures and sometimes questioning if it is really true. Then I had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and got to spend the day just lying on a beach and soaking in the sun. So I decided to give you all my version of Fall. And see what we get during the Fall Season. Enjoy.  I visited a beach house in Blanchisseuse Beach and it was attached to 3 different bays. When they smile... I smile

Just a gentle tug at the mouth is all it takes, To fill and make your heart break... To see their faces lit up with so much joy, And its them playing that brings smiles.. not a toy. They innocences of just lying in the grass, Makes me just want them to just stay there till the daylight lass... The cool ground beckons them to relax and stay, And there they lay just giggling and they play. What I would give to watch them like this all day, Because their smiles are precious in every way.
