Sydney's 3rd Birthday Party ... all DORA

So to celebrate Sydney's 3rd Birthday I had a Dora party for her. Firstly I would like to say ... since my first child was a boy... I did not realize how much Dora themed party things there were out there ... my bad!!!!

So I did it ... I did the Dora thing and she loved everything.

Sydney did have a fantastic time she enjoyed jumping in the bouncy castle, getting treats from the piñata, and blowing out the candle. She was a good sport and the only thing I had to stop her from doing was asking people .... "Where my present?" (after she has taken it a few minutes before.)

In the end she really just loved seeing all the Dora things in our home and the helium Dora balloon is her newest best friend. She even took the Dora balloon in the tent and has a little tea party. It was the cutest thing. Kids really do know how to melt your heart.

Hope you enjoy the pictures. Sydney's captured memories I will always treasure.

WW ... Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2

I went .... I saw .... I conquered :) Monday Evening: "Honey can you watch the kids tonight ... there is something VERY important I have to do?" "Sure Jill but what is it??" "You don't worry about that .... I will just be home around 7pm tonight!" It was FANTASTIC ... and the perfect end. Stephanie Meyer did an excellent job producing it. I will love this movie....

Guardian Angel working Overtime!!

Saturday morning this occurred while I was on my way with the kids to my family's home in San Fernando. My car is the Blue Madza and my kids were in the back seat!! I had just stopped at a traffic light with 4 cars ahead of me, waiting for the lights to turn green, when the Green car smashed into me from behind.  All I can say is that we were all frightened by a loud bang from behind, and just as I turned my head to look at my kids in the back, I saw my car skidding on the wet road heading towards the car infront of me. There was no stopping and unfortunately my car struck the car infront of me :( From that point on there was alot of screaming from the kid behind, me trying to calm them, and me trying to get my husband on the phone. Even today I still cannot believe it happened. Clearly the woman who struck me from behind did not see me stopping along with the other cars, clearly she was distracted doing something else than focusing on the road. ...

Do's and Don't for 2013

For the new year I have come up with a plan to try and make my life less complicated. I want to make the best decisions possible for me and my family. I also have to make sure and stand my ground and not let others take advantage of me. You see I am one of those people who try to help others and as time goes by I realize I am the one doing all the work and the other party doing nothing. This over time become a burden to me. Because in life I really believe people get what they deserve and they also have to earn respect and make the effort to help. If the other party is not doing anything, then I think I am going to get off this one way street... FAST!! As for making the right decisions, both financial and personal, it has to benefit both me and my family. I am no longer going to throw caution to the wind. I am going to set a budget to provide financial stability (i.e. not give money away to the hairdresser who did not do a good job... and buy toys from stores that are over priced!!...
