  1. Thanks for stopping by A Creative Spirit. OH girl, I hope you get some reading done this summer and yes you SHOULD sit back and relax some. I am hoping this is a reading kinda summer for me this year too as the last couple years didn't quite lend themselves to that.

  3. Planting in glass bottles? Do you paint them or leave them plain? I bet they look so cute. When you do them, please post about it. It sounds like a fun project. My oldest daughter planted a flower in a plastic cup at school for me for Mother's Day. It's adorable. Anyways, stopping by from the Hop to follow your blog.

My Version of Fall.

I have been seeing on other blogs beautiful pictures of the ever changing and eye stimulating Fall season. Honestly living in Trinidad limits your experiences of the changing seasons and seeing how spring turns to summer to fall and then winter. All I have is endless summer greenery. All I have is the constant warm weather and lush green rain forests.

So I have been living vicariously through other blog admiring the Fall pictures and sometimes questioning if it is really true. Enjoy.

This was a bird's eye view of the bay that had clear green water and little watery caves to hide under. My son really liked…

Hate is a strong word.

When you live on a small island like I do in Trinidad, you really do not want to be too outspoken about terrible things happening to someone you know, because it is almost as if you are talking about it happening in your own backyard. But the fact is, terrible things do happen and unfortunately it sometimes happen to people you know or people who you cannot ignore.

In the last month there was a unforgettable incident of a little girl being attacked and physically taken advantage of ... and this rocked out entire community. Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, granddaughters and friends were really disturbed about the attack... because you do feel as if it has happened in your back yard! For a few weeks no one felt safe in their own homes and everyone was whispering about the ever changing rumors of the whereabouts of a man, who manage to physically hurt 1 and mentally hurt 100s.

In my heart I do feel sorry for the young girl and pray that through God, family and friends she can be a su…
