As a teacher I really look forward to this time of year. I would finally get a chance to enjoy the Christmas season with the kids... but I had a few things to scratch off my 'to-do' list.
1. Dylan was involved in the school's Christmas Concert, so I had to shuffle being a teacher (behind the scenes) and a parent.
2. I spent most of the weekend ... wrapping presents to close friends and family...
3. I devoted the entire Saturday to making pastels with my family (Sorry no picture yet). The thing is ... it is a tradition in our family to make flour pastels and not the corn pastels that most of you know about. You might be thinking "FLOUR??" but it is something 3 generations of my family grew up eating and we are not passing it onto our forth generation. It was alot of work but worth it!!!
So with that out of the way I get to spend some time reading, and allowing myself the opportunity to focus on myself. My little girl is in daycare for the next few days and my son and I have planned a schedule of activities to get through together.
So without any other delays my holidays have begun. :)
CHEERS!!!!!
