I've got this little boy, and in his adventurous head,
Are dinosaurs, pirates and alien stories and many more ahead.
He struts around all day, playing with his imaginary friends,
From sun up to sun down, the daring excitements never ends.
He's Mario one minute and Ben 10 too,
He's got many characters to play, and he does not know which one to choose.
At home and in the schoolyard he is busy at play,
He steps around everyone, for no one can stand in his way.
Cause when his imagination starts taking flight,
He is determined to finish it, with all his might.
He must complete the story in his head,
And even when the lights go off, he continues them in bed.
I love his imagination, I love his little mind,
It creates such wondrous worlds no one else can find.
But when he goes there, I know it's his dreams coming true,
It's almost as if he opened up his favorite book, and out the pictures flew.
So every night, after a story is read,
When he is alone, I know he is creating a new one in his head.
I wish I could see them, hear him tell every one,
I am sure it would be magical, I am sure it will be fun.
Each adventure is like a precious diamond,
Very rear, captivating and seldom found.
They would be unique, the best in the land,
Cause they came from someone special, they came from Dylan.
WOW!!!!!!! I LOVE IT. :) That is soooo Dylan. Great one Jillian, can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeleteI like this so much! I have a 12 year-old and can remember each step like this! Now I have a 3 month old, name Dylan and can't wait to see him go through all these little joys.
