There is a knock at the door and I start
to grin…
“Please some open up… please let me in.”
Let me into the world… I want to be out
there,
I know it is daytime … there is light
everywhere.
There is so much to do… I must have my
milk to drink
And an apple, sausages and strawberries I think…
No matter want I want to come out
To be with you and see what is all about.
This is how my daughter
starts each day knocking at the door to get out and be with us. She does not
cry and scream… she simply knocks and waits because she knows eventually
someone will come and let her out.
I like the poem. Love that picture of your daughter! She is really cute.
