Love/Hate link up with Beautiul Life.

It is amazing with the Summer finally here and school out I would get a chance to relax and just get some me time... nope... well here goes

I love getting a break from teaching and not having to get up at some ungodly hour in the morning to get to school... I hate getting the cold as soon as school ends and I have to feel all miserable and moody :(

I love having the kids home and doing fun activities for them to enjoy their Summer days... I hate when it rains and we are stuck indoors waiting for it to stop.

I love going to the movies to watch Spiderman with my husband... I hate getting the corner seats and you now have to sit with your neck twisted the entire time. It was still good.

Link up with Noel at Beautiful Life and share your love/hate thoughts. Its fun and a good laugh.

  1. Oh man those corners seats are a doozy on your neck, and YAY for summer with the kiddos!

  2. Your kids are just beautiful!!!!

Summer colds..and end of the year colds..bite!

My Version of Fall.

I have been seeing on other blogs beautiful pictures of the ever changing and eye stimulating Fall season. Honestly living in Trinidad limits your experiences of the changing seasons and seeing how spring turns to summer to fall and then winter. All I have is endless summer greenery. All I have is the constant warm weather and lush green rain forests.

So I have been living vicariously through other blog admiring the Fall pictures and sometimes questioning if it is really true. Then I had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and got to spend the day just lying on a beach and soaking in the sun. So I decided to give you all my version of Fall. And see what we get during the Fall Season.

I visited a beach house in Blanchisseuse Beach and it was attached to 3 different bays. It was fun just splashing in the waves, and fun exploring each bay in the warming sun.

This was a bird's eye view of the bay that had clear green water and little watery caves to hide under. My son really liked…

Hate is a strong word.

When you live on a small island like I do in Trinidad, you really do not want to be too outspoken about terrible things happening to someone you know, because it is almost as if you are talking about it happening in your own backyard. But the fact is, terrible things do happen and unfortunately it sometimes happen to people you know or people who you cannot ignore.

In the last month there was a unforgettable incident of a little girl being attacked and physically taken advantage of ... and this rocked out entire community. Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, granddaughters and friends were really disturbed about the attack... because you do feel as if it has happened in your back yard! For a few weeks no one felt safe in their own homes and everyone was whispering about the ever changing rumors of the whereabouts of a man, who manage to physically hurt 1 and mentally hurt 100s.

In my heart I do feel sorry for the young girl and pray that through God, family and friends she can be a su…
