This is funny but very true...

My husband and I experience the "Baby Trap" every night before putting Sydney to sleep in her own bed.

    It's been a long time since I had little ones sleeping with me, my kids are now teens. But, when they were little, I would sometimes have all four of them in bed with me. My husband is a firefighter and works 24 hour shifts so they often piled into bed with me when he was working. As crowded as it would be, I loved it.

    none--the only time my kids got in bed with us is when they were sick or had a bad dream--didn't get into any habits like the above-very cute!

    We have gone through that. Our daughter is 5. Ine one way, it is nice to cuddle, however, if we had it to do over again, we wouldn't have co-slep. She ended up not wanting to go to bed by herself, whether in her own bed, or in ours. It has made it very difficult, until we had to start getting very firm with her. For people that have "easy" children, bonus! We didn't, lol! We have a very stron-willed child.

    This is hilarious! Our baby man never sleeps in our bed so I don't go through these but the names are hysterical anyway :)

My Version of Fall.

I have been seeing on other blogs beautiful pictures of the ever changing and eye stimulating Fall season. Honestly living in Trinidad limits your experiences of the changing seasons and seeing how spring turns to summer to fall and then winter. All I have is endless summer greenery. All I have is the constant warm weather and lush green rain forests. So I have been living vicariously through other blog admiring the Fall pictures and sometimes questioning if it is really true. Then I had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and got to spend the day just lying on a beach and soaking in the sun. So I decided to give you all my version of Fall. And see what we get during the Fall Season. Enjoy.  I visited a beach house in Blanchisseuse Beach and it was attached to 3 different bays. It was fun just splashing in the waves, and fun exploring each bay in the warming sun. This was a bird's eye view of the bay that had clear green water and little watery caves to hide under. When they smile... I smile

Just a gentle tug at the mouth is all it takes, To fill and make your heart break... To see their faces lit up with so much joy, And its them playing that brings smiles.. not a toy. They innocences of just lying in the grass, Makes me just want them to just stay there till the daylight lass... The cool ground beckons them to relax and stay, And there they lay just giggling and they play. What I would give to watch them like this all day, Because their smiles are precious in every way.
