Lost in Translation

Time always changes.

No matter how hard we try to put a routine to it and sometimes control it ... we are all fools to think we can.

It slips out of our fingers... it disappears with the blink of an eye .... and before you even know it .... seconds turns to minutes, turns to hours, turns to days, turns to nights, turns to months, turns to years.

When do you find time for life... for yourself... for your children... for your love?

A moment in time also has the ability to capture an emotion.. a feeling that .... when you recall a time past you can also remember the tears shed, the laughter among friends, the passion enflamed....

Time lets you appreciate life... it lets you hope for a better tomorrow ... it lets you think that tomorrow is a new day ... a Better Day.

Be engulfed by time. Know that it can be your enemy or your friend. Know that you must make the best of what time you have. Know that you only have a little time to love, and not waste time on hate. Spend time on things and people who matter, for they are what make time spent worth reminiscing.

No matter what enjoy it ... embrace it and appreciate the gift of time.

I do.

  2. Time is definitely an interesting thing...and we can't make more of it so we have to enjoy the heck out of what we have.

  5. Beautiful post! Your comment "Know that you only have a little time to love, and not waste time on hate," really spoke to my heart tonight. It made me think about the time spent in disagreements with those you love rather than nurturing those relationships. And we never really have enough time...to heal and to forgive. Well written.

My Version of Fall.

I have been seeing on other blogs beautiful pictures of the ever changing and eye stimulating Fall season. Honestly living in Trinidad limits your experiences of the changing seasons and seeing how spring turns to summer to fall and then winter. All I have is endless summer greenery. All I have is the constant warm weather and lush green rain forests. So I have been living vicariously through other blog admiring the Fall pictures and sometimes questioning if it is really true. Then I had a beautiful sunny day yesterday and got to spend the day just lying on a beach and soaking in the sun. So I decided to give you all my version of Fall. And see what we get during the Fall Season. Enjoy.  I visited a beach house in Blanchisseuse Beach and it was attached to 3 different bays. It was fun just splashing in the waves, and fun exploring each bay in the warming sun. This was a bird's eye view of the bay that had clear green water and little watery caves to hide under. WW ... Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2

I went .... I saw .... I conquered :) Monday Evening: "Honey can you watch the kids tonight ... there is something VERY important I have to do?" "Sure Jill but what is it??" "You don't worry about that .... I will just be home around 7pm tonight!" It was FANTASTIC ... and the perfect end. Stephanie Meyer did an excellent job producing it. I will love this movie....

Guardian Angel working Overtime!!

Saturday morning this occurred while I was on my way with the kids to my family's home in San Fernando. My car is the Blue Madza and my kids were in the back seat!! I had just stopped at a traffic light with 4 cars ahead of me, waiting for the lights to turn green, when the Green car smashed into me from behind.  All I can say is that we were all frightened by a loud bang from behind, and just as I turned my head to look at my kids in the back, I saw my car skidding on the wet road heading towards the car infront of me. There was no stopping and unfortunately my car struck the car infront of me :( From that point on there was alot of screaming from the kid behind, me trying to calm them, and me trying to get my husband on the phone. Even today I still cannot believe it happened. Clearly the woman who struck me from behind did not see me stopping along with the other cars, clearly she was distracted doing something else than focusing on the road. ...
